Truly speaking, Alltel is not at all the pioneer in its lineup, but it considerately offers a wide range of sophisticated handsets with a bevy of adorable features. Surrounded with a mega-pixel camera, Music Player along with Bluetooth facilities with EV-DO support are the essential key features of LG Wave AX380 Mobile Phone.

Design & Features

Known as wave, the phone does offer a curvaceous surface area with rounded corners in addition to a soft curve originating from top to bottom of the phone. It is a small and lightweight handset which comes in the size of 3.5 inches X 1.93 inches X 0.89 inches and it weighs only about 3.03 ounces.

It includes a camera which is located at the top of the external display. This external screen is located just right of the front of the mobile phone. It displays the usual information relating to current date and time as well as it denotes the life of the battery as well. Additionally, it also includes the called ID and signal strength.

The screen supports 65,000 colors and it acts as a mode for camera viewfinder. It also offers the information relating to the musical track if activated. The screen may also display if any message is received and roaming icon if the user is traveling to somewhere beyond to his local network.

After opening the mobile phone, a 2 inch color display is found which carries 262,000 colors altogether. A user can customize backlight time, style of the menu, style of the font as well as dialed font. But user is not able to adjust brightness according to his preference.

The address book may include 5000 entries with 5 phone numbers per entry along with other required details. Other facilities may include vibrate mode, text messaging feature, multimedia messaging feature, memo pad, alarm, calculator, note pad, stopwatch, world clock. Additionally, it also offers unit converter.

The camera is a 1.3 mega-pixel and it is able to take pictures of 5 resolutions along with 3 quality settings. It also offers microSD card slot for extra storage. It also includes camcorder with two recording options, mainly 15 seconds for multimedia messaging and 1 hour for regular mode. Likewise other phones available in the market, LG Wave does not offer any extra range of qualities in video. It is rather pixilated and blurry in nature.
