I bought a N150 from Consumer Reports gave high marks. A week after receipt and will not return to Windows Update for Windows version 7. Loading the factory service to replace the hard disk. When I go back to the touchpad does not work so returned to service. After receiving a second service the Touch Pad works but is uneven and bumpy. I tried to reduce the sensitivity but regardless of sensitivity adjustment is still unpredictable. Sometimes it is difficult to get the cursor to move when it moves and it is almost on the link or button with a tendency to stop and open a two-way arrows instead of moving smoothly in the past or a connection. Works with an external mouse but I do not want the mouse along the road. I must say that the Samsung service is very convenient. They require only the execution is unpacked in a UPS store where it is packaged and shipped for free.

After the N120 Samsung decides to go cheap

I already own a Samsung N120. It is Pearl White, with chrome hinges, solid, very durable plastic, Samsung embossed outside in chrome letters, speakers on the sides of the screen as well as below, an AMAZING keyboard with beveled keys, full size... so I recommended the N150 to a friend seeing that it was newer and seemed to have replaced the glossy screen with a matte screen which was a much wanted upgrade. To my absolute shock, Samsung has decided to rip off it's customers by going cheap and removing every single one of the features I listed above. This computer is half the N120 or less! They were so cheap to not even print the model name of the computer as they did with the N120. The plastic is cheap, the keys on the keyboard are flat chiclet toyish looking, the speakers are gone, the outside shell is a cheap glossy fingerprint showing gimmick... anyone giving this computer anything more than 1 star has simply not seen what they put out before in order to compare and realize Samsung has downgraded what they were selling for the same price to half the value. They even took the blue-lit Power Button on the right hinge off and put a conventional one under the front edge that is as mediocre as possible.

This netbook is the best I could find for the price. It's very light, small, and thin. I like the overall design. Highly recommended for people on the go, especially because of the great battery life.

Great Deal for a Netbook

I gave this netbook 5 stars. I bought it for 289 and wasn't expecting a supercomputer for the size or price. I use it mainly for the internet and Microsoft Office. Didn't have any problems with the wireless at all. It has great battery life and a battery life extender feature that only charges it 80% if you want to extend the life or 100% if you need the extra power. Runs about 6 hours with the 80% charge. The keyboard is easy to use. Windows 7 is limited, but again.. for the price what were you expecting? Almost all new netbooks come with Windows 7. I didn't buy the dvd drive and so far haven't had a need for it since all programs you can install via download or flash drive. The build in SD slot is handy for downloading pictures from your digicam. 

Built in webcam is also a neat little feature for web conferencing. The processor is a bit slow, you need to know that this is not a desktop replacement laptop. Web and Office are the most this thing can handle at once. I did look up buying an extra ac adapter from Samsung and it was pretty expensive compared to how much the netbook cost. I uninstalled a lot of the programs that came with the computer which also helped boost performance. I upgraded to 2 gigs of ram which helped a lot also. Overall a great deal and I would recommend it for the road, for class or for an extra computer. 

You're buying a netbook, not a full fledged powerful computer. Know its limitations.

Please see my full review on the blue variant here: Samsung N150 10.1-Inch Blue Netbook - Up to 7 Hours of Battery Life. The variants are all the same, with the exception of color. The blue is a matte blue, and this one is a shiny black. After rolling out 3 of the blue ones, I saw that this black one was available for a great price. While I'm not a fan of the shiny black, only the lid is matte, the inside is a nice matte black with a red accent trim around the side. 

I've had some some time with this model and I'm very happy with it. Battery life has been good, they keyboard is good, the matte screen is a godsend compared to the trend towards gloss, and most importantly, the machine is extremely quiet. When the fan does run, you just can't hear it, it's obscured by the quiet Hard Drive noise. For those of you who are concerned with having a quiet machine, you'll be very happy. The trackpad buttons would be my only complaint, I feel they could be positioned a bit better, but the trackpad itself is Very Good.
