What is the best digital camera for independent film making (priced between £600-£800)?
I'm looking to buy a good, reliable digital camera, with easily accessible sockets for attaching a boom mic. I would like something that is very adaptable, for instance, if you want to strap the tripod into a car seat, or climb into a tree with it etc. 
I don't mind buying something second hand, as long as it fits in my price band. Thanks
With that low budget you would probably be best renting or borrowing a good quality one. I assume you are fairly serious about making films if your willing to spend that kind of money so you shouldn't skimp on camera quality. Cameras I use are £3k up price wise but there are places you can hire them from, although they usually require a hefty deposit too.
