The Plantronics Voyager 510-USB Bluetooth Headset is a lightweight, hands-free versatile headset. It is a top quality Bluetooth device that is highly compatible with any Bluetooth enabled phone. The phone ships with a Bluetooth USB adapter which may be plugged into other applications that run on the VoIP technology or even a notebook.

The Plantronics Voyager offers high quality of sound and great comfort. Three ear-buds are included in the headset. Since the unit is lightweight and it is designed to ensure maximum comfort, it fits snugly over the ears. Some of the competing headsets in this category have a tendency to flop around, particularly when you move the head quickly from one side to another. The Plantronics Voyager Headset does not flop around. So, you need not worry about the headset falling off or tilting. In addition, the headset also offers a wind-repelling feature on the screen which helps clear transmission of voice even when you are driving and there is wind blowing inside or there is background noise in the vicinity. This is a phenomenal feature because many of the earlier headsets were hard to use as the sound completely drowned in background noise in areas of disturbance.

The Plantronics Voyager headset also has the very useful AFH technology. The Adaptive Frequency Hopping facility allows the user to change the frequency of the headset automatically so that it does not interfere with Wi-Fi signals.

The headset is sophisticated and fitted with some of the niftiest features you could want. Besides volume control, it also has a call control button that allows users to answer a call or hold a call remotely. That means you can choose your callers and talk to them without using your hands. The Plantronics Voyager headset also has the multipoint technology which allows the user to use the headset with their phone, laptop or PDA. To ensure high quality of sound transmission, the headset has an in-built boom mic that can be adjusted.

To ensure maximum comfort, the headset is pre-synched with the USB Bluetooth Adaptor that is available with the headset. That means, you can start using the device without any manual installation. Also, synching the headset with the phone is a snap!
