Microsoft confirms it will not develop intelligent cell phone
As to Microsoft who can make wind and rain in the PC industry, the Windows Phone 7 of this year will become the best weapon for it to march the field of mobile operation system. Seeing from current progress, Windows Phone 7 will appear in recent two months. To the news that Microsoft will put aside OEM manufacturer to produce Cell Phones by itself, the top management of Microsoft responses, we will not develop intelligent cell phone. In the regular meeting held in last Thursday, Microsoft cell phone communication business department chief financial officer Tivanka Ellavala expresses, Microsoft want to supply the consumer software and hardware integrated product by the chance that Microsoft is trying to promote its cell phone business by Windows Phone 7. Ellawala says, "Microsoft is a software company, software is our core business. The company will focus on the core business. We will not develop intelligent cell phone anymore. This is the first time Microsoft respond this event. Currently, as to the mobile operation system, iOS and Android increase trend surprised people, while old Symbian and backward Windows Mobile are inclined step by step formally. Windows Phone 7 released by Microsoft will conduct a big innovation to the system. It not only adds more functions, but also has bigger enhancement of interaction design of person and cell phone at the same time. But so far there is no product released based on WP7 platform. It is very right for Microsoft to focus on its core business. So far Microsoft is conducting large scale test on Windows Phone 7, believing we can see the formal release of this product soon.
