iPod Touch Screen cover, Saran Wrap?
I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous, but I was just thinking about the screen cover for my new iPod Touch. I have a skin for it and it came with a Screen Protector, but it falls off, hard to explain. But I was just thinking about other things I could use to protect my screen and I did not want to spend $20+ for a tiny sheet of plastic, so I was thinking if I could use Saran Wrap. Would it damage the device in anyway? Thanks [:

It wouldn't damage it. But you would probably have to wrap it completley around so it doesn't fall off. It would probably get scratched up though, and rip easily as Saran wrap is very flimsy.
I was thinking about this however, (I like to use my Ipod in the shower, I know, not smart.) I thought that maybe taking a clear masking tape would work, although I'm not sure how that would affect the reception of the touch.
I actually wound up using a sealant. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone else, because I was being extremely careful, but I filled in the ridges so nothing could seep in a painted a protective sealant coat over it.
Also my brother ordered a giant, transparent thin sticker for his. Which I'm sure was much less work, and cheaper..well, smarter. He ordered it cut down exactly to the size of his iPod and it doesn't come off. Unless you literally pry it off with..a razor or something. I'm not sure where he got it from, but there are many sites or even stores which you can purchase a transparent cover sheet from, that I'm sure would be safe for your iPod, unless there's a certain glue on it. You could even cut out a little circle for the 'home' button. =]
