BlackBerry Bold 9000 - A Review

The new BlackBerry Bold 9000 was launched after BlackBerry 8800 and BlackBerry Curve. RIM's shows his extraordinary experience and ability in making of BlackBerry Bold, and it is far and away the best model of Blackberry Cell phone I've ever seen.

It has a Very Good and unique style and look, but there are a lot of other features in it, for example HSDPA, HVGA screen and significantly enhanced software for functioning with MS Office files.

Designing & BUILD

Design and Style of BlackBerry Cell Phones has been significantly enhanced in recent years and BlackBerry Bold is one of the best example of this. Its corners are rounded and its leather-textured back alter it someway both sexy and professional.

It has a high resolution screen of 320 x 480 pixel, which is double than the resolutions of earlier RIM models, like the Curve. Its screen is very beautiful and anything you do with it looks great, but particularly watching videos and listening songs.

Among its numerous competitors it is relatively much wider as well as it's also very thin. Its width also makes room for a bigger keypad. However it is not very wide as the landscape-oriented keypads, which you can find on some cell phones, but it is large enough which fulfill your needs and you can type comfortably with it.

Keys are not separate, but every key has a upraised area due to which it becomes easier to be sure you're pressing one button at a time. Unfortunately, the bold version doesn't pay attention to my biggest problem with BlackBerry keypad: No key is associated for the most regularly used punctuation, including the comma and the period.

There is a trackball between trackball and keyboard. As the this model does not feature of Touch Screen, you'll do much of your work with it. After using it, I acknowledge that trackball relatively better than D-pad, and without doubt far better than old track-wheel of BlackBerry.

Keys which are on the left and Right Side of this cell phone is programmable, which is a very good feature and I want this feature in other cell phones also.

To mute the incoming calls there is a button on top of this phone. On pressing this button instead of sending the call to voice mail it just mute the ring tone, to put the Blackberry Bold in safe mode same button can be used, on pressing this button screen turns off and keypad locks which can be activated by pressing again this button, so you can carry around your cell phone easily.
