Nokia E7 - An Impressive All Rounder

The Nokia E7 is a feature packed new mobile from the manufacturer. It boasts a wealth of features ranging from a 4 inch touchscreen, 8 megapixel digital camera, and full Wi-Fi internet connectivity.

Whatever you are looking for from a smartphone, the Nokia E7 is a great choice. Utilising both touchscreen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard, it comes with loads of features ranging from entertainment to productivity tools.

The Nokia E7 is a great looking handset which is slimline with clean lines and a simplistic yet sophisticated appearance. The handset measures 123.7x 62.4x 13.6 mm and is very lightweight at 176 g, which is impressive for a handset with a separate keyboard unit.  The large 4 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen provides a great method of navigating the user interface, as well as excellent display quality of pictures and videos.

The handset utilises vibration and ringing to alert users to incoming calls and messages with the added bonus of being able to assign MP3 and WAV music files as ringtones.  In order to communicate handsfree, there is a built in speakerphone system as well as a 3.5 mm audio Jack, the latter of which can accommodate both handsfree headsets and earphones for listening to music via the versatile internal media player.

16 GB of internal storage is provided as standard, eliminating the need for expandable storage such as a microSD card slot.  This amount of storage is plenty for the needs of most users as it is capable of storing an entire digital music collection or a large number of videos etc.

In order to connect to cellular networks on the move, the Nokia E7 utilises class 32 versions of both GPRS and EDGE.  In areas with 3G coverage, an HSDPA connection takes care of Internet access providing speeds of up to 10.2 Mbps (alongside HSUPA at 2 Mbps).  A faster Internet connection can however be achieved, thanks to full Wi-Fi connectivity.  This takes advantage of the signals provided by local wireless networks whenever they are available, you're in the domestic or commercial location.

A stunning 8 mega pixel digital camera is built in to the handset which provides a means to take high quality still images.  A number of image enhancing features is included such as fixed focus, face detection and dual LED flash.  And the presence of GPS allows functions such as geo-tagging to operate.  This automatically tags the location at which a photo was taken.  Obviously a camera of such high quality has the ability to shoot video, in this case it is in 720p (HD) at 25 frames per second.

The Nokia E7 comes with a list of extra features catering to all manner of users.  Whether you are looking for a multimedia entertainment device, a solution to sending messages and emails on the go, on effective web browser, the Nokia E7 is definitely worth a closer look.
