The HTC Desire HD boasts the power of a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor

The HTC Desire HD has the power of a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor allowing it to perform seamlessly and multitask, as the new iPhone 4 also offers the same functionality and ability to run multiple apps at once. The Desire HD also has an 8 Megapixel Camera with auto focus and dual LED flash making it great for taking photos and capturing video clips in High Definition.
The handset offers 1.5 gigabytes of internal memory alongside the 768 megabytes of random access memory, which also allows the multitasking functionality to run easily. The operating system featured is Android 2.2 which features new security updates and bug fixes since 2.1 Eclair which the HTC Desire to name but one featured. The Desire HD has a large 4.3 Inch Touch display with pinch to zoom capability and offers WVGA resolution. The onscreen keyboards offer easy to use text input while the user interface including HTC Sense provides an intuitive environment for you to manouvre around the handsets features. 
The Desire HD provides a powerful 8 megapixel camera with a dual LED flash and auto focus which enables you to capture photos and videos in High Definition, as does the 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash offered by the Desire Z. The media taken can be watched back on the handset or immediately shared with friends via personal websites, blogs, social networking which is integrated such as Facebook or Twitter, or alternatively by Bluetooth to a friend nearby with the wireless connectivity also. The Desire HD as with the Desire Z offers an Internal Gps antenna with Locations which allows you to view maps onscreen with no loading time to wait for, and no dead spots as you move around instantly. 
The phone offers a unified email inbox which combines all of your email accounts form multiple services, such as Hotmail and Google mail into one easy to read place, with some colour coding so you still know which emails came form where. The Desire Z also offers this new feature, along with the ability to register the handset with HTCSense.com for remote management of the phone. This also provides enhanced security should your handset be stolen or lost.
The HTC Desire HD provides an intuitive user interface combined with the powerful and open source Android operating system from Google which allows for multitasking between apps and more. The handset not only offers High Definition video recording, but does so with a more powerful 8 megapixel camera, compared to most other handsets.
