Bluetooth Headphones Review: Nokia BH-804 Bluetooth Headset

Perhaps all you really need from bluetooth headphones are the basic features.  You probably are looking for one without all the bells and whistles.  The Nokia BH-804 Bluetooth Headset, then, may suit your minimalistic taste.

Don't take it the wrong way, though.  The Nokia BH-804 Bluetooth Headset may have only the barest of features, but it is one unit with incomparable toughness and durability.  If you compare it with other similar bluetooth headphones, the Nokia BH-804 exceeds all others in terms of simplicity, but never at the expense of style, convenience, or usability.  It may be simple in design and features, but it is definitely not impaired.

Owing to its design and choice of material, the Nokia BH-804 is a bluetooth headset designed to endure the seasons and the years.  Its solid casing is made of aluminum and hard plastic--a perfect combination that makes the unit very hard to break.

The choice of material also accounts for its very light weight.  It weighs in at only 5.1 ounces and measures only 5.5 inches on all sides.  Its compact size and very small weight makes the Nokia BH-804 one of the easy-to-wear bluetooth headsets.  The boxed package also includes an additional ear clip that you can use in case you need extra fixtures to make the device fit snugly in your ear.

The sound quality is crystal clear and has a wide signal coverage radius.  Customers have reported that the Nokia BH-804 retains clear sound and signal quality up to almost the maximum that Bluetooth technology allows it, with some cases reporting that the audio at the receiver's end only starts to sound somewhat hollow or starts to include echo when the device reaches about 28 feet away from the paired mobile device.  Take note that this is not necessarily an inherent limitation of the device itself but a limitation of the Bluetooth technology.  Other factors may come into play, as well; for example, physical barriers can possible interfere with the signal.

The Nokia BH-804 runs up to 4 hours of non-stop use and up to 6.25 hours of idle time.  Battery charging time is quick.  Using either the supplied charger adapter or desktop stand, the battery will be full and ready for use in about an hour.

Despite being placed under the category of minimalist bluetooth headphones, the Nokia BH-804 Bluetooth Headset contains all the important features that you will need for a life on the go, nothing more and nothing less.
