Heads Up: Here Comes the LG GM750
Since the insurmountable success gained by the Apple Iphone last year, there are very few people (if any) that would disagree with the fact that Smartphones have become the major player in the Mobile Phone industry. Nowadays, mobile phone manufacturers continue to market Smartphone after Smartphone, each trying to better the other. And of course, being one of the biggest moguls in the mobile world, LG too has had its fair share of the competition. Their latest warrior in the battle of the biggest and the best Smartphone in the land is the LG GM750.
Similar to the Htc Touch 2, the new GM750 also teams up yet again with Microsoft to come up with a Windows-powered device. And although the latest version (6.5) of the mobile operating system is already on board this device, LG has still decided to perk things up by adding their own S-Class interface on the MG750. Here’s more on the newest LG Smartphone.
Opening Act
Naturally, the first thing you’ll see on the device is its TFT resistive screen which measures 3 inches in height and has a 240 x 400-pixel display. Although it is smaller than most Smartphone screens in the market, the advantage of the GM750’s Touch Screen is that it is user friendly and very comfortable to use. The responsiveness is a treat and LG’s proprietary S-Class interface is likely to blame for this advantage. Moreover, you can enjoy high resolution video playbacks on the MG750’s screen which can display up to 256 thousand colours.
Multimedia, Memory, and Connectivity
Capture your most precious moments via the GM750’s 5-Megapixel snapper. Although it is not exactly cutting edge, this mobile’s camera is still able to produce images of decent quality (up to 2592 x 1944 pixels). If photos aren’t your thing then you can also opt for the Video Camera. Saving valuable images and videos shouldn’t be a problem at all as the device can hold up to 32 GB of external memory via the microSD slot. The only letdown is, and it has proven to be quite a glaring absentee, the lack of a Camera Flash. Although the camera is able to snap decent quality photos during the day, don’t bank on it at night as the dark will become your number one enemy.
Final Say
The LG GM750 is truly quite an impressive Smartphone. It has the look, as well as the feature set to back it up. However, one problem is that it is exclusive for Vodafone subscribers. Sorry to say but O2, T-Mobile, 3, and Orange subscribers wouldn’t be able to get their hands on this inspiring device. That is unless they opt to switch carriers, which is definitely the reason why Vodafone has teamed up with LG for this awesome mobile phone.
