Tips for Productivity Using Micro SDHC
In today’s day and age we’re always rushing to get things done and rarely catch a break. Particularly in the West the work ethos is very much at an all time high, exacerbated by the economic crisis, and it’s very much a case of seeing how you can squeeze in a little extra time to work. While this may seem unhealthy in some respects, it certainly doesn’t hurt the bank account and for some of those who are a bit more business oriented it can actually be enjoyable and leave us with more time to relax when we finally do switch off. Furthermore it’s actually good for personal and mental development.
Fortunately technology such as the micro SDHC card helps us to satisfy this urge to optimise our time and can be used in a variety of ways to increase productivity. With the micro SDHC car you have a tiny and highly portable card (around the surface area of a small coin) that’s versatile enough to be used with a wide variety of applications and gadgets. This enables you to transport data easily and furthermore to access and edit it on the go.
Most new computers today have the ability to use SDHC cards with no installation required and come with an inbuilt card reader (though in the case of the micro SDHC you may require an adaptor to bring it to the size of a regular SD card). Where this is not the case it’s easy to get around this problem with an external card reader, or flash USB device that accepts SDHC cards. Alternatively you can plug in a device such as your phone or camera and use that as the card reader.
This means that you can start work in the office, then save it onto your micro SDHC card. From here you can then take it home to work with, or even plug it into a laptop and work with it on the go in that way. Unlike a memory stick however, SD cards can be used with other gadgets such as PDA’s and smart phones. This means that you can access your files with a piece of equipment small enough to fit in your pocket. Those who don’t want to bring a laptop to work then, can use the file editing software on their handheld devices to edit files on the train or anywhere else.
Micro SDHC cards needn’t only hold word documents however; you can also use them to transport your PowerPoint presentations or to make voice memos. In the case of the extreme workaholic you can even use a Micro SDHC along with a PDA or phone and a hands-free kit to record articles, reports and essays to write up when you get back to the office.
