I need to know some info about Windows CE.?
I have a NEC Mobilepro 900 laptop that is running CE.
I am having major problems finding drivers for network cards, both USB and also PCMCIA, as well as general programs. Every time I download a program onto my flash disk, it comes up with a error, saying 'This is not a Windows CE program', even though I downloaded it from a site with programs for CE.
I'm also not able to find much info on CE. It looks like 95 or 98, however, I've read that it is mainly used on PDA phones.
Wiki said it is Compact Edition, however it doesn't say a compact edition of what.
Is there a compact edition of Windows XP I could substitute this program with?
Can anyone offer any tips?
try the windows CE knowledge center. although i think this guy is just plugging his book. the 1st link i tried is 404 not found. other seem to work. click the questions in the ovals on the left
