For first time or experienced promotional USB buyers we strongly advise you continue to read as this could save you and your company lots of time, money and brand embarrassment! 

If you don't already know then you will find out soon enough that promotional USB Flash Drive prices can be so erratic with prices changing on a daily or weekly basis?  The problem stems from a continuous circulation of misinformation regarding brand able flash drive memory chip prices and the cost of materials. Often buyers believe they can purchase USB sticks below the market price quoted through an online vendor with no accreditations and sceptical price lists. It's becoming common practice for some Chinese factories to supply prices direct to the UK and Ireland but reputable USB memory chips costs are exactly the same for every manufacturer as currently the demands for USB Chips are far out stripping the current supply chain    

so there are a few things you need to know! USB Chips arrive in 4 different classes or standards  
Grades A, B & C. & now unofficially a Grade D

Grade A: 

These are certified premium USB chips with the flash chip manufacturers name & serial number imprinted on the chip itself. These chips are produced by manufacturers such as Samsung and Hynix. They are the most reliable chips offering a lifetime warranty which means together with a 100% satisfactory guaranteed print your branding is sure to stay in front of your target audience for longer than any other grade USB Chip.  

Yellow Pig Promotions have only and will only ever supply Grade A chips.

Grade B: 

OEM USB Chips. Produced by legitimate manufacturers but supplied without the manufacturer's name imprinted on them. These chips are just as reliable but are not to the same standards that the manufacturer would consider putting their name on.

Grade C: 

Recycled or reclaimed USB  Chips. These's chips are considered waste from the "wafer" that the manufacturer does not want and considers to be garbage! Grade C USB Chips have between 30% - 40% failure rate. They are sold by the pound! Here's where the quality issues & problems begin. These will be some of the least expensive flash drives available to the UK Market but have a very high failure rate. 
Purchase 1,000 branded with your company logo and the chances of have more than 600 in use supplying brand impressions are slim! Don't let Grade C recycled Chips Cost your Brand the Earth!

Grade D: 

It's not uncommon for a selfless manufacturer to purchase grade C USB Chips and then imprint an original manufacturer's name on the Grade C chip. It may read Samsung or Hynix, etc. but is most definitely going to land your brand in big trouble they are worthless and FAKE!.

In conclusion you may never know what grade USB chips you are purchasing unless of course you find one of your branded USB's in a bin one day!  
If you look hard enough you may find USB drives offered to you online at cheap prices but you won't find a single USB for sale with the quality and assurance offered by us.
