Ihave a p4 32,ghz pentium laptop packard bell with a problem?
It starts and goes so far then stops, it seems if its cold it get further but then hangs, it has new HD changed memory, is it the processor over heating then freezing>?
Its a PACKARD BELL H5315, Fan is working and processor does not feel hot when running. P4 3.2 GHZ, the Hard Drive is new and clean, no viruses
please confirm > processor
P4 , 3.2 GHz
>> too much heat for a laptop to handle, as also the power drain
model number of laptop / link will be appreciated

# the very best i can tell you is keep air flow clear, no obstructions
bottom is suction & side is outlet
place laptop on flat hard surface
periodic cleaning
switch off when not in use
bottom line is that you have a desktop processor, spits fire and any laptop will find it way too tough to keep it cool, given space limitations

tdp rating of 103 watts, as against the modern mobile processors which have a tdp rating of 30 to 35 watts
higher the tdp value, the hotter it runs
