Latest OverDrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot

Sprint and Sierra Wireless has today announced interesting news about the upcoming availability of Overdrive Pro Mobile Hotspot by Sierra Wireless. The old Overdrive can share connection to five WiFi-enabled devices and where as the latest Overdrive Pro version connects to eight WiFi-enabled devices at the same time.

The new second generation Overdrive device let customers to connect up to eight Wi-Fi-enabled devices at the same time. With cameras, smartphones tablets, laptops, eReaders and gaming devices, from other carriers at the same time via a single Wi-Fi connection to a 4G network.

Starting from March 20, customers will be able to purchase Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot exclusively from Sprint at a price tag of $49.99 excluding taxes following a $50 mail-in-rebate with a 2 year service agreement. Customers can purchase the device and sign up for 3G/4G plans at select Sprint retail market stores via business sales, Web and Telesales.

According to the Fared Adib the vice president of Sprint Product Development states that there are many advantages of the wireless connection to Sprint 4G through Overdrive and he even states that for customers who use Overdrive device there is no need of mobile hotspots as it is equipped in the device itself.

With the help of the new Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot, you can Stream a favorite TV show or movie in your Netbook or tablet while concurrently surfing the web in another room, wireless connect an Xbox 360, Move pictures wirelessly from a camera to a digital picture frame and surf the web on a laptop while streaming Pandora, work remotely anywhere in a 4G coverage area or almost anywhere with 3G, teams that are traveling can share internet access with each other at airports, hotels and conference centers, provides route to their destination, ERT Go Kits can be used easily, fast uploading of pictures.

The new Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot provides foot range of nearly 150 for Wi-Fi connection and also consist of GPS hold and location-based services. Finally, the new OverDrive Pro 3G/4G mobile hotspot will be hitting the market on March 20th at a price tag $49.99.
