Installation of Screen Protectors on the HTC Thunderbolt

One of the best  accessories is a Screen Protector. Now for those unfamiliar with screen protectors, these accessories are ultra-thin pieces of film which help protect your phone from scratches and such. Because screen protectors are strong and have tenacious adhesive qualities, they can also provide great protection for your device if you should accidentally drop it. The protector will help shield your screen from the impact and prevent it from shattering all over the floor. And because of this, a screen protector is highly suggested. But you know what other accessory is considered just as important? The HTC Thunderbolt charger.

Now, if you're interested in purchasing a screen protector, know that there are several kinds to choose from: glare resistance, mirrors, privacy enhancing, or just the regular kinds. The cheapest of the protectors, the clear screen protector, is a thin, clear film, usually sold in a package of three. The Privacy Screen Protector will prevent your screen from being viewed from anywhere except directly in front of the device. Although it will not reduce your visibility at all, it can keep your work private from the prying eyes of your friends and rivals. Mirrored screen protectors provide the user with a mirror when the phone is turned off. Anti-glare screens provide excellent protection against the sun. Although each of these comes with a different price tag and level of quality, they are all installed more or less the same.

Before you do anything though, just make sure you read the instruction. Move the device to a room that is free of dust and dirt, so you can perform the installation. Make sure you clean your screen before you put the protector on top. Just make sure nothing gets between the screen protector and your phone because it'll end up having that piece of dirt forever.

Make sure the device is turned the right way so that the orientation of the protector matches up with the orientation of the device. Remove the screen protector from its case. Then slowly remove all the tabs attached to the screen protector. Once you are sure that is oriented correctly and the screen protector is in line with the screen, press down to apply the adhesive. Very carefully remove the sheath while also continuing to apply the protector over the rest of the scree

Clean off any dust that may have settled on your device in the process, and then remove the top half of the sheath from the protector. Calmly take hold of the remaining sheath and peel it down without touching the sheath itself.
