The LG Pop! This sweet little Smartphone is definitely worth the few notes that LG are asking for!

The new LG Pop is not only sleek and shiny but it is affordable too! LG have given the LG Pop GD510 tons of clever, useful and down right quirky features for you to find and play with, the phone has a full 3 Inch Screen and has a pretty good web browser also, the touch sensitivity is very receptive and the phones user interface makes for a more colourful and playful experience.

The GD510 utilises a 3-way interface allowing you quick and humorous access to all of you communications and multimedia functions, the A-Class overlay is what delivers the 3-way UI. All of the useful widgets for social networking, time, calendar and even your gallery can be swiped onto your main screen for quick access; giving your device a quick shake will neatly order them which is a nice non-chaotic feature.

One of the three home screens you are presented with is LG' LiveSquare, this screen is a sweet little home for your favourite contacts which are represented by cute little avatars which have been animated to walk round its interchangeable background, you can drag and drop any of these avatars onto the form of communication you wish to use and voila! This feature as been pre-loaded into a number of LG's latest releases and gives its users a playful and useable experience.

With the Pop you have the ability to create e-mail accounts from the palm of your hand, there are quite a few POP3 and IMAP4 web-based accounts which you can set-up for full management from you handset. The phone uses EDGE Quadband technology to link to web networks, this delivers a usable browsing experience and the web browser manages to give you a pretty fine experience providing you stick to mobile tailored sites. LG have thrown in a social networking Java application for personal network management, you can handle your online accounts with Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.

For quick snaps and short videos the 3 mega pixel camera located on the back of the phone has you covered, for the cost of the handset it displays some pretty good image clarity and the video quality is not so bad either. In the multimedia package which comes standard with the LG Pop you get a lively and functional Music Player, the sound it pumps out is smooth and bass-full, the video player can playback MP4 and 3GP files quite comfortably and the WQVGA display handles them smoothly and efficiently.

This sweet little Smartphone is definitely worth the few notes that LG are asking for, for such an affordable price you get a lot of Smartphone functionality, a digital camera FM Radio, expandable memory ( up to 8GB )and a social networking application allowing for full management, e-mail and a comical user interface make up the phones outstanding features. The user interface makes the Phone Very useable, very play-with-able and certainly more accessible to virgin Smartphone users. For a reasonably priced Smartphone experience the LG GD510 Pop is the device for you!
