Small Pocket PC for the Nokia E62
The Nokia E62 is powered by Singular's allover wireless voice and data network. When abroad, customers can use the E62 in more than 180 countries for voice and over 100 countries for data. Nokia E62 square, responsive backlit keyboard, and the spacing of the thumb keys are comfortable. However, the keys have very little travel to them, so it takes a bit of practice to improve typing speed and accuracy using the thumbs or fingertips. For years, you clung lovingly to Your Pocket PC and candy bar style cell phone. Both tethered nicely to desktop to sync up. Until discovered the Nokia E62, It was unwilling to give up either. The 320-by-240 pixel, 2.8-inch color display, QWERTY thumb keyboard and Bluetooth connectivity cannot be beat.
Nokia E62 two of these soft keys, at opposite sides, are the Call and End buttons. Next to them, in the center under the screen, are menu and e-mail buttons. The Nokia E62 comes with a very agile joystick a thumbs-on device, not a Touch Screen with stylus. The Nokia E62 device is an E-mail optimized smartphone with uncompromised voice functionality, QWERTY input and a USB 2.0 full speed Mini Usb connector. Multiple e-mail solutions with rich attachment content support combined with extensive range of connectivity methods and familiar Nokia voice UI, gives mobile professionals a competitive edge. The infrared port, which is located on the bottom edge near the mini-USB connector, is used for synching. The volume controls and voice recorder keys are on the upper left side, within fingertip reach when holding the phone to the ear. A Power Jack and a 2-1/2 mm stereo headset jack are located on the bottom edge.
On a tangent here, the BH-800 is probably the best earpiece I have yet used. Nokia E62’s tiny and attractive and it sounds great. On the technical side, it supports Bluetooth 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate. Nokia E62 single charge can give about six hours of talk time and over 150 hours on standby.
