Can I buy a Sprint Cell phone from Radio Shack and have them activate it for me?
The Sprint cell phone office is too far from where I live. I already have a Sprint account, but my phone is taking forever and ever to charge even though the new battery is only about a Month Old.
Yes you can buy it from Radio Shack. THey can activate it for you or you can buy the phone and call customer service and activated the phone yourself.
However, my first phone with sprint was through radio shack. I was highly disappointed with their service when I had to get it fixed, I was without a phone for almost a month without a loner, and the only thing they would tell me is that is takes time to get it done whereas the sprint store can check it right in their store. If there is a problem, they can fix it right there or replace it.
Another option is to find a phone on ebay, buy it and then activate it yourself by calling Sprint customer service.
