Compaq Notebooks

Compaq is an American company founded in 1982 that in 2002 was bought by HP. Compaq Laptop Computers are among the best that exist, but they also have their faults. In what follows you will see a couple of Compaq laptop computers and their features, which hopefully will help you decide if Compaq is the manufacturer for you or not.

The Compaq Presario CQ61-120SA is one of the Compaq laptops that serve very well their purpose. The Intel Pentium T4200 / 2 GHz processor is powered by 3GB of RAM (you can even upgraded until you get to 8GB) and will provide enough power to run even the most demanding applications. On the 250GB Hard Drive you can store anything you need from the simplest of documents to movies, games and music. Moreover, it comes with a LightScribe Technology DVDRW which will enable you to write your own discs, but also to label them with your logo. The Altec Lansing speakers along with the Intel GMA 4500MHD Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0 on the 12.6-inch BrightView display will make your movies nights great because they'll provide good sound on a great image. The price for such a nice, efficient laptop starts from $345, which is not even that expensive considering the features provided.

The laptop such Pavilion DV1000(Hp dv1000 battery) and Presario M2000 that comes next had some really bad reviews, Compaq also admitting that the system was sent out with some severe troubles that makes it very unstable. The Compaq Armada M700, although has great features, users have said that there are some major problems with it. However, the ideal Armada M700 embeds the Mobile Intel Pentium II or III processor powered by a quick memory that can be upgraded at anytime. The laptop also provide a good storage hard drive that will allow you to store on it anything you need. The price of this Laptop Computer is not that expensive and you can purchase it from any store, but take a very attentive look to see if everything is in order and in its place.

The Compaq Presario CQ60, on the other hand, is a great system. It comes with an AMD Sempron SI-42 / 2.1 GHz processor that runs on some 4GB of RAM and that will provide enough power for your laptop to run your applications or even to multitask. On the 160GB hard drive you can store all your stuff and due to the wireless LAN aerial and the built-in webcam you'll be able to Video Chat with your family and friends wherever you are. Great things like a numeric keypad and 6-Cell Li-ion battery are also included in the small price of $340 that is featured on the price tag of this laptop. All in all, Compaq laptop computers are very efficient and powerful, but you have to keep your eyes opened to see the prospect of missing parts or malfunctions. The laptops that are alright, though, are very cheap and also very useful to use either at work or at home.
