Compatible with Telus?
My dads friend said he can unlock motorola phones to work with any company like telus or fido, but on this phone(link provided) it doesn't say it is compatible with telus in the despcription. Is it possible to have it work with telus?

This phone won't work for 2 reasons:
1. The phone is a GSM phone. You can only use CDMA phones with Telus. Gsm Phones connect with Satellites, CDMA phones connect using Towers.
2. Telus will only allow Telus phones to be activated on their network. On the back of all phones their is an ESN (an 11-digit number). Telus has a record of all the ESNs for every phone that they have sold in their stores. If you ESN is not on the that list (ie. Bell, Verizon, Sprint phones) they won't let you activate it.
Save yourself some hassle... only purchase TELUS phones from EBay.
