Top Reasons for Buying Clip On Earrings

Around 80% of American women have their ears pierced, making it one of the most popular form of accessorizing.  For various reasons, this leaves a large number of women on the search for a stylish substitute.  Whether you are looking for a simple, classic hoop or a fancy dangle, clip on earrings" target="_blank">clip on earrings come in all shapes and styles and are made to look just like the real deal.  Most importantly, clip on earrings are now made to look young and trendy without sacrificing comfort and wearability.  Since growing in popularity, they now offer the same variety as the pierced alternative.

This survey illustrates that a large number of those who wear clip on earrings have worn pierced earrings in the past but have since developed an allergic reaction, infection or keloid skin as a result of the metal piercing through their earlobe.  Clip on earrings make great alternatives to those affected by pierced earrings.  For the most part, they are comfortable, sturdy and you do not have to worry about them falling out like you might need to with some of the pierced varieties.

There are a multitude of reasons why women do not have their ears pierced.  Fear of the piercing gun, religious views and allergies are all grounds for choosing clip ons.  Women who are allergic to certain metals in jewelry should look for nickle free earrings so they do not have to suffer from a negative reaction.

Some people with pierced ears choose to wear clip ons for heavier, longer earrings so they do not stretch the holes in their ears or, in extreme cases, even tear them.  Clip on, screwback and magnetic options allow women to trade between the two depending on the occasion.
