Nokia 6500 Slide : A well balanced device completed by an exquisite design !
Nokia has always shown the considerable evolution and the innovation in its products. The Nokia 6500 Slide is an excellent example of the same. This beautiful Slider Phone is integrated with a 3.2 mega pixels camera with auto focus, Carl Zeiss optics and LED flash. This high definition camera is capable of the zooming up to 8x. Some of the additional features of the camera include landscape mode, sequential shots, and the dedicated 2 step capture key. Further, this camera facilitates the horizontal mode of capturing which results in an enhanced sophistication while snapping photos, it gives a feel of the normal digital camera. On the whole it clicks wonderful images, at the same time it ensures that the natural colour of the thing, which is taken in the frame, doesn't go away. Thus it captures the beauty at its best. Furthermore, this camera can record VGA videos at 15fps and the QCIF at the speed of 30fps which is a sign of well-capable camera. Then it comes even with a secondary camera, which is there for the purpose of video calling. The video calling facilitates the streaming of the live videos at the time calling, it is best way to feel closer to your loved ones and don't let the distances come in between.
Moving on to the other useful aspect of the camera, the data and the connectivity competencies cannot be missed out. The data transfer is made easy by the technical assistances like EDGE, GPRS and CSD, the availabilities of these competencies ensure that the Nokia 6500 Slide loads the pages faster. The connectivity is taken care by the functions like Bluetooth 2.0 and microUSB connector. Then it has the built-in Music Player which produces a beautiful sort of clear sound. The music listening is made possible even through the FM radio. The FM radio succeeds well in producing the stereo sound resulting in an outstanding music listening experience. It is further backed by the virtual radio support that can play the songs of online radio, it works on GPRS. So now obviously, it incorporates a balanced multimedia support.
This beautifully designed device comes packed in a stainless steel casing with a 240 x 320 pixels TFT screen where the text input is facilitated by the slide out key pad. The 6500 Slide supports almost all the regular and the standard features of a Mobile Phone. The messaging capabilities is enhanced by SMS, MMS, Email and instant messaging. Interestingly, the handset is compatible to Java MIDP 2.0 which makes the access to downloadable games easier. Some of the preinstalled games are High Roller Casino, Golf Tour, Rally 3d and Snake. The gadget has got compatibility to the set up a TV out connection to have a better view of the recorded videos. The Nokia 6500 Slide is third generation of phone which work the 2G also. Now coming to the most important factor or Nokia phones and that is the battery life. The standard Li-Ion 900 mAh (BP-5M) battery can give the stand by time of up to 310 hours, at the same time it can give the talk time of around 6 hours which considering the embedded features it has, not so bad. All in all, it is indeed an outstanding device.
