It appears that Mobile Phone manufacturers are starting to invest heavily in concept phone models as this seems to be a successful way of promoting a mobile phone company.

The futuristic looking designs gain a lot of attention, especially the models that state a variety of weird and wonderful abilities in their spec list.

Asus announced a concept phone named Aura. The amazing thing about this design is its size, its very slim frame supports GSM, UMTS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. On top of this, the phone also has a 2 mega-pixel camera, a 3.9 inch Lcd Screen and micro SD slots for memory expansion.

Another concept phone that was unveiled was a joint combination from LG and Prada. This design is more similar to the iPhone and has a 3.0 inch wide touchscreen, a 2 mega-pixel camera, a micro SD slot and also Bluetooth connectivity. The biggest draw to this phone is what comes with it, a special leather case for it, ringtones and themes that come preloaded on to the phone.

These concept mobile phones all have something different about them that helps draw in the appeal, however, none of the phones are quite as revolutionary as the ideas and concepts put forward by BenQ–Siemens. One of the models put forward was “Snaked”; this phone is targeted towards the female section of the market due to the fact that this mobile phone is not carried, it’s worn. The idea is that the wearer wraps the phone around their wrist or arm and on top of this innovative idea, the phone will also have capabilities such as; monitoring the heart beat of the user, along with other physical conditions, whilst they are doing their workout.

These designs are a few of many and they all show off new and interesting functions and ideas, however, what should be taken into account is that if these phones get made, what kind of mobile phone deals will there be and how expensive will these futuristic style phones be?

The best thing to do when wanting to find cheap mobile phones is to compare the prices offered by different companies in order to find the best price for your phone and needs.
