Palm Treo 650 keyboard is whackity whack, can you help?
Just got a Palm Treo 650 for use with Alltel. It has a qwerty keyboard, but some of the keys seem switched. The 'w' key gives a 'z', and vice versa. 'm' maps to '.', '.' maps to backspace, and backspace maps to 'm'. I'm trying to use this for contacts and text messages and am having this issue. I don't see an option for remapping keys, nor to changing the keyboard type. I can get around this issue by remembering the odd mappings, or getting the keyboard on the display and using the stylus. However, for texting, I REALLY don't want to use the stylus.
And 'a' and 'q' are reversed, and '@' and single quote. Ugh
I'm hoping someone tells me something easy I can do to fix this. Thanks in advance!!!
