The HTC Touch Diamond 2 has a multitude of new features like the handwriting recognition software. With the software you will be able to write down your thoughts and plans on your phone as if it was real paper.

Nevertheless, the HTC Touch Diamond2 isn't sporting a D-Pad anymore and is therefore following the HTC Touch HD which was HTC's first Touch Smartphone without a D-Pad. The HTC Battery is also powerful.

Like the original HTC Touch Diamond, the Touch Diamond2 features a glossy housing but the Battery Cover isn't diamond shaped anymore. The 5 megapixel autofocus camera on the back comes without a supporting photo light and as most of the recent HTC Touch smartphones; also the Touch Diamond2 doesn't have a dedicated camera shutter key anymore.
