The M-Pad from Microjekt

With all the I-Pad clones available today, most running the Google Android operating system and of inferior chineese quality, you would not be blamed for thinking that nothing could beat the I-pad.

Well, European Company MicroJekt have now released their M-Pad, produced for them exclusive and running Windows CE.6, not Android! What's more, this little Gem of a tablet PC also has a WIFI connection, is packed with everyday applications and boasts an HD screen, yes I did say HD! This cleaver little touch pad computer has a 7 inch HD screen, but it that is not big enough for you, it also boasts a full 1080p hd decoder and has HDMI out for connection to an HD TV, HD projector, plus regular TV out for those of you with older TV's.

You can play you tube videos and HD downloads straight on the Pad, or Via the HDMI out, now that's a great feature! Connecting to the Web is a doddle in any Wifi hotspot and as this is running microsoft, it has the most popular applications, such as, Internet Explorer, MSN messenger, Pocket Outlook, Pocket office, with Word and Excell, plus a whole host of other top applications.

Made to be Zippy on the web, is has a 733 mhz processor and 256 mb of ddr ram, ample power for this device, it also features 2 USB ports for connecting to External keyboard and mouse, or for use with USB memory sticks and even USB hard drives. The onboard memory is only 1gb, not much to get you started, but the file system is upgradable with Micro SD cards up to 32gb and as they are so cheap these days, adding more memory is not a problem.

Now, Microsoft Windows CE is designed to be mobile, but with the bigger screen and power this device provides, it is also a great alternative to a traditional laptop. The pad is very small and light, but the 7 Inch Screen gives crisp readable images and text. The best thing is the portability and of course, that it is not running Android !!

My windows CE Touch Screen tablet has now become my travel partner while the laptops sits at home, it has all i need for emails, communication and day to day web browsing. Visit Microjekt for more information on this great little pad, under 300 euros it's a steal too !!
