iPhone and Ipad Technology , iPhone Platformer Mirrors Edge Free Today

Electronic Arts' highly acclaimed parkour sim cum arcade adventure Mirror's Edge is free to download today (November 4th) for iPhone and iPad.

The title, which is usually the princely sum of £2.99 for the iPhone and £5.99 for the iPad, and leans rather heavily on the movie Run Lola Run for inspiration, is being made free as part of iTunes 12 Days of Christmas giveaway.

In case you've yet to get a look at Dell Inspiron 640m battery it, in a nutshell Mirror's Edge is a 3D, side scrolling platformer set in a future dystopia with 14 action-packed stages.

You play as flame-haired heroine Faith, who you must guide across a rather beautiful cityscape by running, jumping and powersliding your way across some unforgiving and vertiginous skyscraping.

We're also finally getting tabs for flicking between windows as well as improved social networking experience to Research in Motion's business focussed smarties, universal search and a super slick media player with album art and coverflow.

Toshiba is set to become the primary supplier of LCD panels for all of Apple's future iDevices under a new partnership.

The tech giant is reportedly splashing out around £1.2 billion, some of which is said to come from Apple's coffers, to build a new factory in Japan to produce LCD panels that will be used for screens for the sixth-generation iPhone.

Apple currently relies on South Korean firm LG for LCD panels used in the iPhone 4 and iPad Dell inspiron 1526 battery  windows  , but by LG's own admission back in July it is unable to keep up with Apple's orders. So, it would seem the venture with Toshiba is the result of Cupertino wanting greater control over the volume in which it is able to procure panels to meet high demand for its products.

The iPad is currently the biggest-selling tablet in the world and Apple is not one to step off the gas when pressing its advantage. Although Toshiba's new factory won't be producing any screens until the latter half of 2011, when it does get going, it will be churning out an estimated 17 million LCD units a month. Crikey!
