Samsung Zeal - A Sleek Flip-Phone for Verizon Wireless

Samsung Zeal is available on Verizon Wireless and supports dual band CDMA 800 / 1900 2G networks and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO 3G networks. It is a Flip Phone with an extra external display. The phone measures 4.01" x 2.04" x 0.67" and weighs 4.34 oz. A QWERTY Keyboard with E-Ink Technology is also provided which makes typing messages easier.

Samsung Zeal offers a 2.6 inches TFT resistive display which supports a resolution of 240 X 320 pixels and can display upto 262K colors. Users can listen to their favorite songs and videos via the inbuilt Music Player and video player applications. The music files supported include MP3, WMA, Unprotected AAC and Unprotected AAC+ and MP4 video format. The internal memory of the phone is quite low at Less Than 64 MB. However, it can be further expanded using an external microSD card of upto 32 GB.

The Cell Phones comes with a 2.0 Megapixel Camera which is not great in today's world. However, it can take photos of resolution upto 1600x1200 pixels and also record videos. Other features include digital zoom, autofocus, night mode, LED flash and much more. The camera functions are user friendly and very easy to use.

Samsung Zeal is powered by a TI OMAP 3610 800 MHz and runs on a Verizon branded operating system. It offers wide range of applications for your needs. Social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace are directly integrated into the phone. Other applications include web browser, voice recorder, calender, calculator, alarm clock, notepad, organizer and much more.

The handset is available on Verizon Wireless with 1 year full service/support warranty.
