Motorola Citrus - Another Android Phone Available for Verizon Wireless

Motorola Citrus WX445 is a Android phone available exclusively on Verizon Wireless. It supports dual band CDMA 800 / 1900 2G networks and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO band 3G networks. The phone measures 104 X 59 X 15 mm and is one of the lightest phones in the market weighing only 110 grams.

The Cell Phones comes with 3.0 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display which supports a resolution of 240 X 400 pixels and upto 16 million colors. An accelerometer sensor allows users to automatically change the orientation of the display to landscape or portrait by just tilting the phone. A proximity sensor helps save the battery by automatically turning off the display when you are holding the phone close to your body during calls. The above mentioned features are inbuilt and there is no need to press any button to access these features. The user interface is based on Motorola's MOTOBLUR. Users can customize the homescreens with their favorite widgets and wallpapers to suit their personality. Other features include touch sensitive controls, multi-touch input method, backtrack rear trackpad, etc.

Motorola Citrus is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7625 528 MHz processor and runs on Android version 2.1 operating system. It comes preloaded with wide array of applications. Users can listen to their favorite songs and watch videos using the inbuilt music and video player applications. Music file formats like MP3/WAV/WMA/AAC+ and video file formats like MP4/WMV/H.263/H.264 are supported. The phone has a standard 3.5 mm audio jack which means you can plug in your favorite headsets without any problem. Users can watch videos online using the Youtube application. In today's world, we can't live without Google services so applications for Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail are pre-installed on the phone. Social networking websites like Facebook, Twiiter, Myspace are also integrated directly on the phone which allows users to stay connected with their friends easily. Other features include photo viewer, organizer, digital compass, calculator, voice memo, SMS, MMS, alarm clock and much more.

Motorola Citrus comes with a standard Li-Ion 1150 mAh battery which offers stand-by time of upto 300 hours and talk time of up to 6 hours and 20 minutes. The cell phone is available exclusively on Verizon Wireless and is certified carbonfree. Accessories included in the package are 2 GB microSD card, quick start guide, Wall/Usb Charger and product safety guide.
