Our Review

The new Samsung Wave looks great, with its sleek and polished design, it is slim and tastefully simple befitting the ‘less is more concept' in terms of good looks, but is it worth its pretty face? First lets fully appreciate its artful exterior that shows off the screen with minimalistic buttons underneath –only three hardware keys  "Menu", "Begin Call" and "End Call". The diamond shaped end key also plays the part of the Off/On button and will terminate the application running whenever you press on this trusty key-tool. On top of the display touchscreen is, of course, the camera and earpiece and a proximity sensor, and then that's it! An incredibly mod-plain phone designed to showcase what it does best; bring you the best of feature-smart phones. Let's check out some of the specs!

Well, the Samsung Wave features internet browsing of course, so you can surf anytime, anywhere and with its Super AMOLED touchscreen you can rest assured that your visuals are going to be state of the art clear, with great resolution and crisp picture with rich color. It also comes with HD Video Player & Recorder, given that phones have become the video cameras of the 21st century that fit right into your pocket, it has become increasingly important for users that their memorable moments come in good quality so that when they share their memories they aren't blurred by a pixilated and blurry imagery. Plus with the phone 1GHZ processor you know that there isn't going to be any unnecessary lagging and shutting down of programs due to insufficient RAM or memory.  As mentioned before the display is Super AMOLED and it comes with a resolution of 460X800(WGA) with a screen size of about 3.3 inches.

The size of this little dynamite is roughly 56mmX118mm, fitting neatly in the palm of your hand, of course due to its design this will mostly be screen so you're looking at a pretty decent viewing window for any applications or programs you will be running on your phone. It also comes with GPRS, 3G and EDGE , let's face it, in the world that we live in with its maze of roads and the need for information at every corner, the GPRS locator and the Wifi and 3G connection practically a must have in your phone allowing you to find your way and access the internet no matter where you roam.

Naturally the phone comes with the ever-Used Camera, with a plethora of setting to choose from and a 5MP/VGA resolution including all sorts of video uses for example, video player, recording, streaming, messaging and telephony.

The Samsung Wave S8500 makes you feel right at home with its Bada Os, basically a touchwiz and Android meeting giving you the best of both worlds. Naturally, with touchwiz, you are going to be using up to ten homescreen widgets with the ability to scroll between background and icon giving you an increased depth and dimension, quite like the Android OS.
