ASAP please help with my ipod touch wifi problem?
Okay so when i try to connect my ipod touch to my home wifi, it says it's connected and has full bars. But i can't get onto safari, itunes store, or any apps that need the internet. When i go into my wi-fi settings, it has an ip address and a subnet mask, but the rest are blank. My mum's iphone works fine, so why doesn't my i-touch?
Assuming your mum hasn't blocked your access to the Internet:-) I would suggest you:
1. To check out if your mum opens VPN connection each time she needs to go online
2. Specify manually: router - your iP address but the last digit should be either 0 or 1, DNS - 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 (these DNS servers are from Google and free to use)
