Asus M930 and M530w Can Now Use BlackBerry Connect software v4.0 in India

ASUS and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced the availability of BlackBerry Connect software v4.0 for the ASUS M530w and M930 handsets in India.

BlackBerry Connect for the ASUS M530w and M930 provides push-based wireless email services, including attachment viewing and wireless email synchronization, in conjunction with BlackBerry Enterprise Server, BlackBerry Professional Software and BlackBerry Internet Service.

* Triple DES or AES wireless encryption
* Support for Blackberry Mobile Data System allowing organizations to wirelessly extend corporate data to mobile users
* Wireless device provisioning to allow devices to be activatedwirelessly
* Ability for mobile users to wirelessly configure out-of-office replies, email filters, and auto-signatures directly from their device
* Ability for IT groups to wirelessly enforce IT policies.
